Due to the huge demand so far, we have set waiting lists for all full divisions. To add your child to a waiting list please contact the Registrar and provide the player’s name, birth date and your contact email. We will activate players from the waiting list once we have enough players and coaches to form new teams. Flag Football rules for 2017 will be available in April.

This program ALWAYS sells out, and the players love it!

The non-contact 5 on 5 Flag Football program is for boys and girls from ages 6 to 18. The season runs from April to the end of June, finishing before school summer vacation. Our Flag league is developmental, a great introduction to organized football and tons of fun for all!
All games are played on Saturdays (& one week-night game) in Burlington. Teams generally consist of 10 players, grouped by age and normally practice at least once per week. Halton and surrounding community players including Oakville, Milton, and Georgetown are usually selected to teams as close to their homes as possible when registration numbers allow. Practice days, times, duration and location are at coaches discretion. We are always keen to create “all girls” teams to compete with the boys and mixed teams as Flag Football is a tremendous female sport as well.

Our athletes have participated in the 100th Grey Cup Festival, the Vanier Cup as well as participating in the Flag Football Canada National Championships.  (Medals of every color as well as “Most Sportsman-like” team.)Each year the BMFA modifies its flag football rules (Slightly) in order to align with Football Canada rules or to ensure or game is fun and fair for all. 2015 rules will be posted on the BMFA web-site prior to the Season opener, shortly after our annual coaches meeting.
